Does anyone know if PD arrange for the installation of the gas metre prior to your PC Inspection as I would need gas on to test things like heating. Do I just need to transfer gas into my name on completion date or do I need to arrange for the whole gas metre installation. I am unsure as I have a conflict in my contract. I work in the energy industry and initially, it is advisable to open the account with the provider as it can take some time for an incoming retailer to take over the billing for a site and and you may find yourself suddenly disconnected if the provider does not have an account holder or another retailer listed for the site.
