Went to Hopetoun. the brick we want is a cat 6 (blackheath) . we are boiulding a 30square single story. Anyone have an idea of the potentail cost for the Cat 6 upgrade? Also we are thinking of the following upgrades so anyone with some pricing info would be greatly appreciated. Carpet: St Tropea - Cat 3 Cat 3 underlay for the carpet Front door: Madison 104 with obscure glass Internal doors: atherton 4 panel Gloss white laminate kitchen cupboards Thanks LAC We are building a 30 prestige with an extra garage space (not too many brick I would think) with PD and were told Cat 5 bricks would be about an extra $5-$6K Carpet, not sure We upgraded underlay to the highest for about $750 Got the Corinthian Pmad104 for about $1500 including varnishing (instead of painting) Upgraded all internal doors to 2 panel (16 of them) for $3500 or there abouts. These are very recent figures so hopefully this helps you out, as trying to get any idea of prices before tender can be very difficult. I do remember the girl at Hopetoun saying though that it was about $1500 to buy and varnish.
