Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building in Sydney - Updated 18/05/08 41May 18, 2008 4:34 am wow, it's looking fantastic! I see what you mean about the peruvian clay, the mushroom linea does look more interesting, but once you add the vanity top and even accessorise I think it will look great, and you can accessorise with a broad range of colours with the peruvian clay. Re: Building in Sydney - Updated 18/05/08 42May 18, 2008 9:04 am I just wanted to say this was the first time I'd looked through your entire post. I love the staggered windows going up the stair case and also the 3 columns at the front of the balcony. what a clever idea to stagger the windows it makes a great feature to that side wall.
You must be getting very excited now all the fittings are going in. Re: Building in Sydney - Updated 18/05/08 43May 18, 2008 9:42 am Hi dna,
love your floor tiles - inside & out. We too are buildnig in sydney. Could I ask what your tiles are called & from whom you purchased them? Are they a charcoal colour ? Thankyou Built the Eden Brae Cambridge 34 Family with Boston Corner Facade Re: Building in Sydney - Updated 18/05/08 44May 18, 2008 9:50 am Hi dna,
Its looking great. What colour benchtop are you having for the bathroom and ensuite? It may jazz up the peruvian clay. I love the mushroom linea. Your handles add a nice touch. Your kitchen is lovely, very nice handles. Getting close now Paula Re: Building in Sydney - Updated 18/05/08 45May 18, 2008 10:06 am The house is looking great. I like both the peruvian clay and mushroom linea. I fell with the colours you have chosen they will not date!!!
Good luck Raz If you think you can, you can. Re: Building in Sydney - Updated 18/05/08 46May 18, 2008 12:11 pm Thanks for the kind comments.
kexkez: It's not surprising that you haven't seen this thread considering I haven't updated for a while so it would have been a few pages down. The side windows do create a nice feature on the outside, but they're a bit higher than we wanted when looking out from the inside, we were hoping that they'll be chest height but they didn't end up that way. Rachelle and Paula: Yes, we're hoping that the benchtop will make it the bathroom and ensuite vanities more interesting. The benchtop is the same as the kitchen which is CS in Ice Snow. Southies: I can't recall the name of the outdoor tiles but yes they are a charcoal colour. The floor tiles for the living areas is called Belvoa Bianco. The tiles were supplied by the builder and he uses a small distributor located near Liverpool. If you're interested, I can pass you the details.
