If only 1 is open then it is forced to ALL go out that one? Am I wrong? What you are suggesting is probably tempreture control for each room/zone. When the room is hotter than desited the dampers open up more to allow more air through into that zone. Re: Building the Vasse @ Harrisdale WA - tiling completed 104Jan 10, 2011 2:22 pm Happy New Year everyone!!! We moved in on the 29th Dec!!! Have been absolutely flat out ever since.....when you think you've sorted/arranged something, there's always another thing to do and it never ends. But at least the place is now finally looking and feeling like "home", and our little 10 month old daughter is settled in and loving all the extra space to zip around in her walker. The smooth tiles means she can go pretty quick!!! The aircond issues were fixed just before we moved in. Our installer changed the duct size for Bed-1 and it's fixed the strong airflow issue. He also found the soft-start motor blew a capasitor which explained why we didnt have any cold air. The Actron service technician came to replace it within 48 hours. We're now loving our Actron system.....even when it was 40 degs outside recently we only had to set it on 25 and it was just perfect. At night we set it to 26. 12 March 2010 - Land titles received 3 April 2010 - Signed building contract 14 April 2010 - Prestart 28 April 2010 - Loan approved 30 June 2010 - Slab completed 27 August 2010 - Brickwork completed 22 September 2010 - Roofing completed 30 September 2010 - Internal walls plastered 12 October 2010 - Lock Up 19 November 2010 - PCI 26 November 2010 - Handover 29 December 2010 - Moved In https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=32584 Re: Building the Vasse @ Harrisdale WA - all moved in!!! 105Jan 10, 2011 3:23 pm congrats. now time to make new memories in your new home. What kind of duct outlets did you go for? Is it ones you can adjust or the fixed oens that lets air out all side? I can't decide what to go for. Re: Building the Vasse @ Harrisdale WA - all moved in!!! 106Jan 10, 2011 5:33 pm thanks....we just used the standard 4-way adjustable MDO (multi directional outlets). this is better as you can direct airflow to where you want or dont want 12 March 2010 - Land titles received 3 April 2010 - Signed building contract 14 April 2010 - Prestart 28 April 2010 - Loan approved 30 June 2010 - Slab completed 27 August 2010 - Brickwork completed 22 September 2010 - Roofing completed 30 September 2010 - Internal walls plastered 12 October 2010 - Lock Up 19 November 2010 - PCI 26 November 2010 - Handover 29 December 2010 - Moved In https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=32584 Re: Building the Vasse @ Harrisdale WA - all moved in!!! 107Jan 10, 2011 6:28 pm Congrats on moving in! Duke we will go for a mix of duct outlets. Standards in the bedrooms so we can direct flow to the windows but away from the beds, wherever they get set up. In living areas we have a mix of the ones that go in the wall (they can only be put in the bulkheads so no choice there) and linear outlets in the kitchen and theatres. I prefer the look of the linears, but will only use them where they can be places near windows and airflow direction does not impede on living situations. Re: Building the Vasse @ Harrisdale WA - all moved in!!! 108Jan 11, 2011 5:59 pm Hi duke, linear outlets look better but they cost more. Be sure to check first how much more they're charging above the normal MDO price. 12 March 2010 - Land titles received 3 April 2010 - Signed building contract 14 April 2010 - Prestart 28 April 2010 - Loan approved 30 June 2010 - Slab completed 27 August 2010 - Brickwork completed 22 September 2010 - Roofing completed 30 September 2010 - Internal walls plastered 12 October 2010 - Lock Up 19 November 2010 - PCI 26 November 2010 - Handover 29 December 2010 - Moved In https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=32584 Re: Building the Vasse @ Harrisdale WA - handover complete 109Feb 02, 2011 10:48 am aLLaNNa1 Hey deeps just realised that you're just arond the corner from us! we're on Ferry Court just near the end of the "river" Seems you aren't on google maps yet, so not too sure where that is, but sounds nearby!
