Anyone Else Building At 'Parkside' Tarneit?

I got told by my conveyancer that Sept/Oct is the rough settlement date.. I try to keep my blog up to date as much as possible.

Have a look if you want to see the latest progress in parkside.

Parkside is really coming together of late.. check my blog for the latest..
Looks like we'll be at slab stage in October.. 4 - 6 weeks from now...

Starting to really look good now, the excitement level went +1 today

yeah you are right Juz, it's turning out really good. I was there last sunday but i think they havent started work on stage 3, any idea on where they are going to start for it?

Hi Everyone,
I was told by our lawyer that settlement would be in December prior to Christmas.
However, Elders real estate said November. We are on stage 2.

Hi Everyone,

Stage 2 settled now. Did anyone receive any documents after settlement?
Also any ideas what the house numbers would be?
I don't know when our builders would start. Hopefully soon after holidays.

Hi Barbgal,

We settled on Monday, we are stage 2 also. If you go to land.vic.gov.au then select 'Interactice Map', go to Wyndham shire and then zoom in on our estate you will be able to see your street number. Or, if you like, post up your lot number and I'll look up your street number for you

Hello all!

Been surfing this website like crazy since I joined!!! And stumbled upon this thread! My partner is building his house on springleaf aswell. So it's good to see some fellow to-be neighbours on here!

We went around there for a drive around a week or so ago but couldn't figure out where the lot number was!

Silly question but have you guys been able to distinguish yours from that savannah of grass?!

We counted driveways and compared to the Parkside estate plan on the website, then we were able to work out which block is ours!

Howdy Guys,

Im building on Lot 10 Hogans Road.. I'm lucky that i have a temp fence up, portaloo etc so i know what block is mine..

Mind you i've been blogging the progress for just over a year now, and my slab should start the week of Jan 17th so its all go from here on in.

Theres quite a few people who comment on the block that have blocks in Parkside, 2011 should be an interesting year for us all.

We went to the block on the weekend and found Simonds have started building up to frame stage on greenleaf circuit. I dont know when ours will start

Hi Everyone,

we got a letter from the Wyndham council to cut the grass and the nature strip otherwise there would be $240 fine. But we did this on Mon as the builder told us, we need to do it before they start building.

Did everyone else get this letter?

Yeah we got a letter as well but we have already cut ours. Why dont the council set an example by cutting the giant bushes in the nature strips and road island across from the service road? Or is this a developer thing?

I haven't had a letter yet but i cant imagine it being too far away.

It's amazing how much the "grass" if you can call it that has grown in the estate.
Some of it looks like a mini forrest.

It was mentioned in the letter that the nature strips are our responsibility. Which Lot is yours Springleaf?

Up to slab stage at present.... can see a lot of houses going up now.. soon will be a busy little area.. from last count there are around 16-20 houses at scrape/pipe stage or beyond ...

Oh yeah forgot to add that i'm 408 Hogans Road and no longer Lot 10

For those that attened Parkside regularly can you see if construction on Stage 3 is coming along ok? It keeps being delayed and delayed soon the builder will begin to add fees.. Any info of an updated date for title? they were saying delayed till July last i heard, hoping it actually happens a little quicker april, may or june!

Hi,

Before two weeks when i visited they were working on road (now stage 3 is connected with o'reilly rd which intersect on tarneit rd). I would say they are progressing quite well but as always even if they going to finish their work can't tell how long it will take to get approval from council for titles...

I go past atleast once a week. From what i can see all roads are complete in the development and most of the blocks have been done. The council approval for my block took some time , seeing as i bought the block in Oct 2009 and its was meant to title in Feb 2010 (and ended up being titled early this year)

Im going past tonight , so ill check to see how stage 3 is looking...
