I wanted that also but I'm really happy with the end result. Depending on the colour you choose the joins are not as noticable. Moved In!!! Next up Landscaping! Benschlke, can you please let us know where you bought your overhead lights over the island bench. They don't look like they come down too low. Fab looking. Cheers, Toby. Hi Toby, The lights were bought from our local lighting store but they are made by Mercator. The length is adjustable up to a max of 1000mm. http://www.mercator.com.au/product/Pend ... %20(A66734).asp We have these in our living/dining area as well http://www.mercator.com.au/product/Pend ... %20(A66732).asp Cheers. Thanks Hi LEx, Not quite sure of the colour but it's a Citroen automotive colour (metallic) on starphire glass. Cheers. Re: Anyone with a glass splashback around a window splashbac 13Jan 03, 2011 9:22 am Most Glass splashbacks we install surround the whole window - so a panel underneath and 2 side panels. A few clients have chosen to tile the sides but for ease of cleaning (no tile grout to clean) and to give a more spacious appearance, most go for all glass. We are happy to provide free quotes to Melbournites online via our website. Re: Anyone with a glass splashback around a window splashbac 14Mar 17, 2011 10:36 am Hi iname09, love the splashback. Is the glass in the sill ? We are looking at something similar (Although we don't have any cupboards above the glasssplashback) and the builder is worried the black lines will stick out ? (we are going for a similar colour) Steveo * Are we there yet ? Demolition has come and gone ! yippeeee..hang on that was months ago !! come on Mr Builder, dig a hole at least Finaly ! If there are no overheads it possibly could stick out a bit more, is the area with glass going to be bigger. It might not look off if thats the case... Hope it all pans out! *Edit - Just realised you might have meant the bottom of the window. It has no splashback the granite runs all the way and meets the window frame. Moved In!!! The tiler is saying it is difficult to make the wall splash back 'edge' (the 5mm odd and where it meets the sill splash back) look good, however it looks fine on your photo. Can you comment on that ? or is the tiler making excuses? Thanks so much ! And we have asked for the granite to go to the back of the window also, but they stuffed up the height of the window Steve * Are we there yet ? I saw some really ******* work in display homes and was nervous but they really did a good job on ours. Bummer about the window being too high, our builder actually suggested running the granite to the window. I hadnt even thought about it. I hope you can get what you want in the end Moved In!!! Is that off white border actaully off white? is it painted ? Thanks again * Are we there yet ? That could have happened during the build, or may be happening currently. There are water stains above a couple of windows… 2 3827 |
