The bottom line is that you can't know for sure whether ADSL is available until you have a landline and have applied to an ISP. No one else can guarantee an ADSL connection. You'll get a set-top box, much like Foxtel for this. At the back it'll probably have a LAN connection (for your computers) as well as the phone jack and pay TV output. So, the box will split the incoming fibre line for you. I'm getting fully structured cabling throughout the house (5x LAN, 5x TV, 5x Phone) and the fibre will connect to the main switching box which I'm hoping will be in the garage.
