Browse Forums Building A New House Re: sumsub's Building thread 10Dec 03, 2010 3:54 pm Hi. I like your plan. I don't think the infills look too bad, but if you don't like it, your probably could paint it. Can't wait to see your kitchen splashback in. I can't believe how quickly your house is being built. contract signed: Nov 09 Released to Construction: 23 Jul 10 Slab poured: 9 Aug 10 Frame completed: 30 Aug 10 Windows & Gutters: 7 Sep 10 Bricks: 15 - 23 Sep 10 Roof: 24 Sep 10 Gyprock: 20 Oct 10 Lockup: 25 Oct 10 Kitchen: 27 Oct 10 Tiling: 6 - 9 Nov 10 Painting: 17 Nov 10 Carpet: 30 Nov 10 PCI: 15 Dec 10 Handover: 17 Dec 10 https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=35943 Re: sumsub's Building thread 11Dec 03, 2010 5:01 pm carlswil Hi. I did'nt bother starting a thread when the slab was about to be put in as I was going away for a few weeks and I thought I'd start one after I returned. When I came back, they had finished the Frame and Fixing and then informed me that I could move in by december - that was scary and exciting! I just took a look at your building thread and love that you too have the study\retreat leading from the master Re: sumsub's Building thread 12Dec 03, 2010 6:53 pm Thanks, I love the study/retreat. That was probably the first thing we fell in love with with our house. contract signed: Nov 09 Released to Construction: 23 Jul 10 Slab poured: 9 Aug 10 Frame completed: 30 Aug 10 Windows & Gutters: 7 Sep 10 Bricks: 15 - 23 Sep 10 Roof: 24 Sep 10 Gyprock: 20 Oct 10 Lockup: 25 Oct 10 Kitchen: 27 Oct 10 Tiling: 6 - 9 Nov 10 Painting: 17 Nov 10 Carpet: 30 Nov 10 PCI: 15 Dec 10 Handover: 17 Dec 10 https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=35943 Re: sumsub's Building thread 14Dec 04, 2010 6:14 pm Some more from today shower frame and other fittings, tiles done in 2nd bathroom: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ shower and other fittings in ensuite: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ vanity in ensuite: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I am having second thoughts about the feature tiles below the mirror. LOVE IT Me too Thanks Erin and catjim so you don't think the that the way it is laid below the mirror looks odd with the rest of the tiles? I've been thinking about it all evening Re: sumsub's Building thread 18Dec 05, 2010 7:14 am I think the placement of these tiles is fine. There's nothing odd about it at first glance. I just love the feature tile itself. Re: sumsub's Building thread 19Dec 05, 2010 7:15 am At second glance, if the strip continued around the bath at the same height as it is under the mirror it would flow better... BUT still looks gorgeous Re: sumsub's Building thread 20Dec 05, 2010 9:44 am I love your taste in decorating!!! It's very similar to ours!!
