All ok... I wish the rain would stop for a couple of weeks so they can get my driveway and landscaping done.

I see you progressing pretty well. With electical... if you need to change ask supervisor and he will give you electrician contact and you can pay them cash directly. I added a tv, a phone and moved some powerpoints.

Fingers crossed all will be complete end of next week...

We didn't make Bingo either as we also had other things to do well with the elctrical part i made some changes before the wiring was done as i got all room with Data, Tv, Foxtel wiring and telephones, i work in IT so i need all this to work( well that's what i tell the wife :lol:

I'm smartwiring the house to run Cbus.
well we went past yesterday and all the gyprock is done just waiting for the garage door and all doors to go up.

Your are talking a different language when you talk IT. We got TV points in 2 livings and main bed, then 3 phone points throughout house including garage (thought would put wireless modem in gargage to feed house?!?)

Might seek your advice when we finally catch up.

Just to clarify did you put a data connection in your garage or a phone connection? as you can only run internet on a phone line if it's ADSL but we are on a Fiber Optic estate so you need a Data connection to be able to run the internet.

We only have phone outlets and tv outlets... no data coonections?!? or is the TV outlet a data connection?

I better start researching Oticomm or whoever it is??

Sorry didn't mean to worry you i just thought i made you aware that to be able to have internet in a Fiber optic estate like we are you need to run at least on data cable somewhere in the house to have internet as it is more expensive to do it later there is a package available for us in the estate from opticomm for $550.00 you get connected and you also get 6 months of free internet and 6 months of """"free phone"""" but me wanting to know everyhting :th:

i just found out that it's only line rental when it comes to the phone. Very confusing.

Any info is good info. We all try to get as much info when building but I am sure we all miss things.

who did you get info re internet etc from Mirvac or Parkbridge? Maybe I should start looking into it.

Are you going to your house tomorrow? I will be at mine around 12 or 1 ish?

Fingercrossed our driveway poured tomorrow... if not Saturday.

We got a welcome package from mirvac that included a folder with the suppliers of the internet packages, ours was Internode and they gave me the contacts to Opticomm who are the owners of the Fiber optic in the estate. you have my number give me a call and we can meet up tomorrow and yes hopefully you guys can get the driveway down finally, must say your house is very nice.

Finally spoke to the SS and advice me that the house will be completed by the end of December but hand over wont be until the 3rd week of January. Woohoo

Good stuff... time will fly.

We have handover next Thursday 25th, very exciting... although now the hard work starts... deck! fence! retaining wall! landscaping! turf! and of course... moving furniture!!

We are getting all blinds, security doors, flyscreens etc through Wynstan at Narellan. We got 3 other quotes and their service and price was best. Sales guy was Chris (don't have number on me).
They can give approx quote from plans and then confirm with measure when near completion.

I am meetin Pedro re fence again tomorrow... will let you know

Thanks for that i need to speak to him too, we are putting shutters through out the house and we have decided to go with pavers on the pergola.

Sorry its been a while.

We moved in on the weekend! Its been a crazy past week or so, doing handover... getting blinds in... flooring... etc etc but finally moved Sunday.
Completed forgot about Parkbridge Xmas party until this morning! oops!! Was busy building beds and dusting.
