Don't think it was available on YouTube but I could ask him to check. Re: iPad connectivity question 71Nov 22, 2010 6:19 am Yeah I put all my tv shows and movies in itunes. I have 2 apple tv's.. one connected to the projector in the theatre and one on the small tv (plasma).. It then lets me use those shows on my ipad, iphone and both TV's.. they are 720p HD videos with 5.1 Dolby Digital sound that also have a 2.0 soundtrack so they work on the ipad/iphone. Re: iPad connectivity question 72Nov 22, 2010 8:15 am donuts Yeah fair enough, DH was trying to watching a video on the SBS website the other day though and he couldn't because he couldn't download flash... Don't think it was available on YouTube but I could ask him to check. god what is wrong with my emoticons?? I seem to always be pressing the wrong one on the ipad!!! I don't know what that one was supposed to be but it wasn't supposed to be a cry one. yes, the itunes is a big factor why I would want to get an iphone. BUT the shatterable screen is not, and I can always just use itunes on my ipad and laptop and ipod and use my phone for other things. yes the app store is good (well I believe it is; I hope it's better than the ipad one which hasn't impressed me very much yet) but it only encourages me to spend money... I was talking to someone who has a galaxy this morning and he said he prefers the music on the samsung because you can download stuff for free (off limewire etc) which you can't do on an iphone, which is attractive but doesn't outweigh the itunes user-friendliness for me. but the flash is a bit of a biggie... I play scrabble and what to wear on facebook and they both require flash... it would be great if I could play them from my phone too but I do like the iphone app that says where you are at on facebook...that would be cool. I think I need to make a list of pros and cons of each... "Your emotions are the slaves to your thoughts, and you are the slave to your emotions." — Elizabeth Gilbert Living in our new house. Point your iTunes to the folders, then next time you hit Sync it will copy across too. I haven't done it myself, but if you need more specific details I will look into it. Re: iPad connectivity question 74Nov 22, 2010 9:36 am oh cool thanks, I'll give it a try! Re: iPad connectivity question 75Nov 22, 2010 9:37 am you can certainly add files to itunes that you didn't purchase from itunes.. mp3's are compatible files with itunes, iphone and ipad. Re: iPad connectivity question 76Nov 22, 2010 9:42 am so do you reckon if I got a galaxy phone, I might be able to sync my ipad music up with it pretty easily? obviously I couldn't use itunes with it... Re: iPad connectivity question 78Nov 22, 2010 12:57 pm wow, clever!!! wonder what mounting is?? is that the term for breaking into the security codes or jailbreaking or whatever they call it maybe... thanks machiars ... swaying back towards the galaxy.... another benefit of the samsung is that my old phone is a samsung, so I don't have to completely learn a whole new phone, which took ages when I switched from Nokia...
