I would run them horizontally though. To me, I think that would look nicer. We did this in one of our rentals. The only thing I would suggest is that you have another row of plain tiles above the feature strip if going horizontal. Of course this only works IMO if you have tiling almost to the ceiling. Some things are worth waiting for. That's what I was wondering looking at your plan. I agree with Erin. I would prefer horizontal but mainly in the main bathroom due to the layout - and you want to see the feature tile on from the door if possible. It flowed really nicely & the bathroom had won an award.
