So onto the next question... How are you planning to 'route' the signals? Can the signals be switched like any other network traffic once they come out of the extenders (baluns) on CAT6? Is that what the 8 port switch is for? Source --HDMI--> matrix --HDMI--> Extender --CAT6--> Patch pannel----Desired room--Cat6 cabling--- Wall plate--> CAT6--> extender --HDMI--> target. best way IMO.
