Round down pipes are better for this (so my plumber tells me). for no two story house next door. The downpipe for our water tank is round, which I expected, but there are 2 other round ones which just go into the ground plumbing, one of the pipes is on the outside of our Alfresco, it is really ugly, it has to be painted yet, but I still think it won’t look that great. I’ll wait and see what our CSA says Current status: Busy making the house our home Built PD Francis 29 on our 576m2 block at Reflections in Tarneit Reflections Estate Thread Our Build Thread Re: Building Wizards castle - PD Francis 29 – Awesome news!! 488Oct 29, 2010 8:25 am Congrats on PCI on 15th. When we got there the front door was wide open, so we decided to wonder in and see who was there, turns out it was the painter putting all our doors up. The poor guy had to work late because today our door handles and locks are getting installed and the doors needed to be up to do so. He also said that they will probably be back on Saturday to paint the outside of the house, if they are there I will shout them all morning tea I think. So because he was there we were able to see everything up close, all our plumbing has been fitted, our ducted heating is working, mirrors and toilets are installed and it is all looking great (if I do say so myself) So here are the photos: Main toilet http://i797.photobucket.com/albums/yy252/w-i-z-a-r-d/2010-10-281908.jpg Ensuite toilet - This is getting moved the day we get the keys http://i797.photobucket.com/albums/yy252/w-i-z-a-r-d/2010-10-281907.jpg Laundry http://i797.photobucket.com/albums/yy252/w-i-z-a-r-d/2010-10-281900.jpg Main Bathroom http://i797.photobucket.com/albums/yy252/w-i-z-a-r-d/2010-10-281856.jpg http://i797.photobucket.com/albums/yy252/w-i-z-a-r-d/2010-10-281857.jpg http://i797.photobucket.com/albums/yy252/w-i-z-a-r-d/2010-10-281858.jpg And my favourite part of the house, our ensuite http://i797.photobucket.com/albums/yy252/w-i-z-a-r-d/2010-10-281904.jpg I know I am biased, but I love this shower http://i797.photobucket.com/albums/yy252/w-i-z-a-r-d/2010-10-281905.jpg Current status: Busy making the house our home Built PD Francis 29 on our 576m2 block at Reflections in Tarneit Reflections Estate Thread Our Build Thread Re: Building Wizards castle - PD Francis 29 – More pics 492Oct 29, 2010 9:58 am They rest of your pictures look great Wizard. Thanks bel, we are going to re-arrange the ensuite and master bedroom, something like the pics below (I should point out that none of this is to scale so the positioning of the walls will probably be different) This is how we get it http://i797.photobucket.com/albums/yy252/w-i-z-a-r-d/1.png So firstly we will move the toilet http://i797.photobucket.com/albums/yy252/w-i-z-a-r-d/2.png Not long after that we will do something like this (spa to be added much later) http://i797.photobucket.com/albums/yy252/w-i-z-a-r-d/3.png So it will look like this for a while, but that’s ok by us. http://i797.photobucket.com/albums/yy252/w-i-z-a-r-d/4.png The only other change we will make is to add a door to the toilet and to the entrance to the ensuite Current status: Busy making the house our home Built PD Francis 29 on our 576m2 block at Reflections in Tarneit Reflections Estate Thread Our Build Thread Re: Building Wizards castle - PD Francis 29 – More pics 494Oct 29, 2010 12:01 pm I like what you are planning. As part of your build ... or once you move in do you mean? Im guessing once you move in and finance's are good again. I miss calculated how much deposit i had paid the bank, and thought i was moving in with a little over $10,000. Turns out at fixing stage the bank asked for the remaining $8400 deposit we had to pay (that i forgot about, how did i forget that ) and know we only have just under $2000 to move in with, so i know want its like not having the cash flow. That change will probably happen straight away, my girlfriends dad and 2 brothers are builders so they are going to do it for us, all we will have to pay for is stuff like the wood, plaster etc, which we will get cheap anyway. Some of the other changes we want to make however may take a bit longer as they will be a bit more expensive (one involves putting in a fireplace) so it will all depend on the money. We have worked out a list of priorities and will just check that list off as money becomes available.
