I can't wait to get a closer look at it instead of through a dirty window. Choosing colours for a future home is difficult. So hard to do wen you can't see the finished product right there and then to be able to change things around. Re: Our Retreat - We've been plastered 52Nov 03, 2010 9:37 am Drove past our build this morning and it looks like the plastering has been done, they were inside working so didnt go in, will certainly go in tonight and take some pics, they were quite a way done already at 8.45am so Im guessing they must have worked yesterday (Melb Cup Day). Kitchen will be delivered on Monday 15th. super happy. Also told us that the house will be done mid January, that was the news we needed to hear and we now can put our current home on the market. Been a busy bee today we did all the gardening to get it all looking good, I have been de-cluttering and cleaning inside over the last couple of weeks in anticipation of this news. So fingers crossed we get the price we are after and it sells at auction. Auction date is 16th December. Here are the plastering pics. Re: Our Retreat - New House Build 58Nov 07, 2010 7:10 pm Thanks Barb, everyone I ask says something different, I'm not sure, so I guess will wait until we move in and get garden done. All the cornices are done and site all cleaned of bricks, roof tiles, excess brickie sand, etc. One interesting thing was i asked why they didnt take the plaster offcuts as there was a pile at the front and the SS said that they recycle the plaster offcuts - didnt think of it until later, but I wonder how they recycle plaster Site Start: 10th September, 2010 PCI : Friday 27th January, 2011.
