Re: Laundry reno 10Oct 17, 2010 12:43 pm Terrian It started life as a standard 900mm wide pantry cupboard, bought from Bunnings. When we had the new ducted system put in we had a vent added to the laundry, basically we just cut a matching hole in the cupboard floor and extended the vent up. We then bought a couple of metal clothes horses and 'redesigned' their use http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/Av ... directlink the whole thing, from go to whoa: http://picasaweb.google.com/TerrianC/Laundry# Great to see all the photos! Thanks for that info, too. I wonder if the laundry could take the air being directed back into the room at the top of the cupboard. I realise there would be moisture and therefore possibly mould..... Good luck with your valve! Re: Laundry reno 13Oct 17, 2010 1:27 pm Trish I wonder if the laundry could take the air being directed back into the room at the top of the cupboard. I realise there would be moisture and therefore possibly mould..... the GLW was adamant that the air coming from the drying cupboard not be returned to the laundry because of moisture (bear in mind the plaster was all primed with antimould primer, the paint is also antimould) Quote: Good luck with your valve! the theory is simple, the design is simple, the 'get off ya bum and do it' is the hard part ( http://picasaweb.google.com.au/TerrianC shows what we have been up to the last couple of years!) Not one room in my house is complete - hmm maybe our daughter's room is ... We only been at it for 30 years - so long now that it all needs redoing - hence why I like dreaming whilst looking at what others have done! Last time we repaired and painted our lounge room was during our honeymoon - we've been married for 31 years I did get a new window in there and that's actually finished as in stained glossed and architraved.
