The current pantry has the melamine floor. As you said, it will be difficult to reach the stuffs at the corner. That is why i was rather upset. but surprisingly my "less complicated" wife thought it should be okay, although she only see the photos (and did not see the REAL pantry). I will talk to the builder tomorrow, and see his comment on this less desirable outcome. Re: problem: walk in corner pantry :( [with pic] 16Apr 28, 2008 7:18 pm oznow Hi Nicola Could you please tell me the dimension of your corner pantry? Thanks. Sorry oznow, i can't tell you exactly, we sold that house last year but it was probably a min of 1.2x1.2m along the back/side walls and then 60cm deep benches i think. to_do_list BTW...if that's your last home can't wait to see what the next kitchen will look like....very noice! Thx Mike... we renovated in Glen Waverley 7 yrs ago , but i know i'm going to miss my gorgeous black granite.... Good Luck oznow. A tip from the happily married....make sure she sees the pantry "in the flesh" prior to accepting that its OK.....nothing worse than not being happy with one of the main "work spaces" in the house. There may not be anything you can do to change the design, that is, it may have been built as per the drawing, but better to know now rather than later. And it may be cheaper to do the variation now than have the hassle of modifying it later on.
