Post pics/ideas here pls :) 26Oct 10, 2010 5:43 pm karakarakara looks great Erin, well done! I also love those black and white photos! themax I've just been reading this thread and Erin I am glued to the screen waiting for the final pics with the frames on the wall. It looks FANTASTIC and give sthe room so much character and depth. It was lovely before but even more lovely now. Now way on Earth I could get my DH to agree to painting walls at the moment, too much else to do. Oh well....she waits.... I'm not sure how long we should wait before putting the pics up? How long does it take for paint to dry? Actually, I know that... A LONG TIME! Just waiting between coats drove me nuts... just sitting... and waiting... and watching paint dry... I've only framed 7 photos so far... I have another 9 once I buy more frames... but I'm looking for different styles. I'd like to get the 7 up that we have ready... but just a bit weary about the paint on the wall... Surround sound speakers need to go back up too... I'm already brain storming colours for the entry and master bedroom!!! I think I'll pick walls WITHOUT windows next time... the time it took carefully go around the windows was just crazy... Re: Have a feature wall? Post pics/ideas here pls :) 27Oct 10, 2010 5:45 pm Oh... and as for Aaron agreeing... he's sooooooooooooo easy. He struggles to make ANY decisions... just ask Lisanne... he has to text me to ask if he should buy 600gms of mince or 800gms... He's lovely... agrees to anything... he's yet to say NO. Just realised it doesn't work on Macs Guess I'll just have to rely on Erin's photos to compare. Looks like our original wall colours are fairly similar to start with (mine is Moon River), so it should work out. Judie Re: Have a feature wall? My DH is the same ... we did agree before we moved in that there would be NO feature walls ... then I changed my mind ... LOVE the photos Erin , especially Stonehenge! Can you tell me how you're going to put them up? I've got about 16 frames waiting to go up as we speak but there are NO studs where I want them ... of course. I can use normal picture hooks for the smaller ones and have hollow wall anchors for the rest. Looking forward to seeing the end result of your wall Re: Have a feature wall?
