BTW, huggy_B, love your avatar!! Yep, suh, the "little" accident in your bathroom made me think "well what about kitchen splashbacks?" But would ceramic (or porcelain, for that matter) tiles be more equipped to handle close flame? I don't know if the flame would actually touch the glass, maybe just come close, some 10mm ... will have to test. OK, tested . It doesn't seem it goes any closer than some 30mm.
