In my current house the alarm guy pre-installed the wiring and then came back once the house was completed. The builder was cool with that eight years ago...from what I read on the forum it depends a lot on the builder. I'm about to move to an established house and will have the same alarm guy lined up to do it...currently waiting on a quote. Alarm guy also did CAT5 (blue computer cabling - old tech now) and some electrical as well. dreamhome Is it cheaper to do so or should i get the builder to do it? No idea...I didn't want the builder doing it because I was picky about the alarm system dreamhome Also, what does the aerial installer guy do? Is it for the tv?
