I wish we could have afforded real timber boards, but then we wouldn't have window coverings or a driveway. Sometimes you've got to compromise.

Might have to wait for my other half to get home. Some options: strike the screwdriver with a hammer, try tightening a little to create some movement, put a soldering iron on the screw (heat will expand it and also melt any paint that might be adhered to the screw) or... wait for the other half to get home .... Thanks for the tips. I got three out, the other isn't budging. I had to knock off for the day anyway, I've had it. That sucks! Hope it all works out. Good to move away from steel anyway for all your reasons, but it's also thermally poor. 16 17875 |
