We are at about the same stage. Just trying to get our bank approval finalised - so we'll be racing you to the slab!!!! Re: Building in Beaumont Rise? 15Sep 20, 2010 11:42 pm Hi everyone! Congratulation to Aussie_chik for making it through the council! Not much has happened with our build (still waiting for M3tr!con to submit our DA to the council). I did make some progress on my side though: finally got a blog up and running! I filled it up with some info on what happened since first deposit till now (contract signed). See link in my signature! DKP Re: Building in Beaumont Rise? 16Sep 21, 2010 11:27 am Thanks Aussie-chik. Yeah it's been a long process for us since we exhanged on the land back in October lasy year. I just hope that our FHOG does not have much of an issue as a result of all these delays - Registration - Council Approval - Bank Approval etc. Re: Building in Beaumont Rise? 17Sep 21, 2010 1:35 pm We have progress! M3tr!con has lodged our plan with the developer. We should get their answer within the week. Re: Building in Beaumont Rise? 18Sep 21, 2010 10:20 pm Hi Neighbours, Subtopic. Forward thinking for most of us, but has anyone made any enquiries into digital services in the estate? PayTV: Foxtel - Cable / Satellite -> was informed by Foxtel last year it's satellite only. Anyone heard otherwise? Fibre/FTTH: Any provisioning in the estate (for example). Unlikely. ADSL: ADSL2+ ports available? Speeds? With the main Kellyville exchange under huge load considering it's also servicing The Ponds I wonder if there are ports available and whether we'll get put on a RIM? Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Mobile/3G: For completeness, but surely no blackspots? There's a related thread here discussing similar questions for residents in The Ponds. It would be great to get some feedback from residents who have already completed and moved-in, or those who live in established homes nearby? It may ahve even inspired me to continue with ours - have to see how much time I get in the next week or so. Hopefully developer approval runs smoothly and you hear back soon. Craigology - we heard from foxtel recently and they said it was satelite. I do have this info from the developer but as I'm no techie don't know if it answers any of your queries - "Stage 3 will have copper phone lines, as per stages 1, 2 & 5". Update: We have to submit a letter to builder saying our land is clear from debris, grass mown etc. A few months ago the grass on the estate was mowed but now has grown long again. Does anyone know who I can get in contact with to have it mowed again? Developer or council maybe???
