The lady I bought it from had bought it herself planning to do it up as a toy box but then realised it wasn't a safe idea. DH doesn't like the colour and has suggested we paint it to match the fire which is black or at least grey/black. I won't be touching it for a while so he'll have to live with it as it is for now. That sucks! Hope it all works out. Good to move away from steel anyway for all your reasons, but it's also thermally poor. 16 13763 |
