I wanted a surfmist water tank but she said they don't do that colour!! [quote/] I am not sure if these "colour" ladies are much help at all! I am finding I am wishing I would have followed my heart instead of going along with the colour lady said that my ideas wouldn't work together and I should do this. I listened because I figured she was the expert and I don't know very much about what is going to look good. Anywho, glad you ended up liking your water tank just as well. RachelR It is great to see your photos - we too have picked Martini for our internal colour. Looks really good - are you happy with it?? I think you should share some pics of your house too!! I like that you swapped your bedroom to the back of the house. We will have to keep the blinds drawn all the time as there are 6 windows in our main and ensuite looking right onto the road! The thing I forgot to do until it was too late (too expensive to admin fees) was to put drawers in our bathrooms! Ooops! Rowena MM, it looks fabulous. Coming along really well. You must be getting very excited ...great to hear that DH has experienced what it's like looking after littlies. he probably has more appreciation now Thanks Row! Yes, dh usually has full days with the kids if I work on the weekends, it's sooo good for them to understand how hard it is to keep things clean with kids that basically follow you and pull out whatever it is you just picked up. flagstaffIV Congratulations MM!!! That's great news You are totally gonna be in during school holidays as this rate!! Yay! brb_654 That's great Michelle, With the oven in the garage they must be expecting handover pretty soon!! Not long now and you'll be in your beautiful home. That's what I was thinking! Ahhh......so close!! We have an estimated PCI at the end of the month and your just ahead of us so hope it all comes together well. When you see everything is nearly finished and wanting a PCI date. Yep, I remember that well. I felt the last 4 weeks of the build dragged on forever. It was so painstakingly sloooooow. Well I hope you hear very soon when your expected PCI date is. Any new pics to share with us? Re: Mumma's House~Doulton Q3~Update 8/9 199Sep 16, 2010 12:03 pm We are having a walk through with SS today! Our official PCI is on Tuesday 21/9 but SS has painters and plasters booked for tomorrow and Monday so we are going to identify those issues today. If there are no major problems left after Tuesday we should also be having handover! I haven't been to the house since I last posted pics, so here's hoping that we got all the right appliances, toilets, baths, ect and it's a smooth inspection without a lot of problems!! Whoot whoot, it's going to be all mine next week! Dh says there are going to be strict rules about keeping everything clean in the new house. If only he spent more full days with them he'd realize picking up after them is a full time job! SPOT ON! I am so sick and tired of cleaning up, only to have it desroyed 5 minutes later! I can not WAIT to see more internal pics. Gosh, I have had house envy so many times on here. Have you fully drawn down the loan? 5 12533 Good on you for having a go I am the opposite of DIY (so will pay a builder) - our vibe is industrial/simple so current thinking is 150mm concrete and then internally is… 3 3480 |
