Re: Devonia Park at Lakeside Pakenham 703Sep 15, 2010 8:58 pm We enjoyed the welcome night,,,The station is to be finished end next year, Woolworth should be in by then as well the Community centre should be finished first...lots of talk....whisper that Pakenham race course had sold. Not sure what will go there. the Lakeside Community Development forum (resident group) seem good.I joined, will be handy to get the latest from the people who live here. The future plans, Henry Road joining us to Heritage Estate, will happen but no dates. There still will be a green zone between the two estates .. I think don't take as gospel. only took in half of what was said. and did I mention a Dan Murphy's as well. For a young family lakeside is a great place... Proposed new school. etc etc. My only concern would be for the teenagers not sure if there is enough to do. Graffiti already in front of our build. But otherwise Im very happy and looking forward to starting new life at Devonia Park Pakenham.... Re: Devonia Park at Lakeside Pakenham 704Sep 15, 2010 9:23 pm It all sounds very positive jabblo Thanks for the update!! CDandRB have built: Victory 1500 (Boardwalk) in Devonia Park, Pakenham. Slab 27/7, Frame 6/8, Roof 19/8, Brick 30/8, Plaster 13/9, Fix 24/9, Paint 11/10, Tiles 15/10, E/P Fit offs: 18/10, Carpet 20/10. Blinds/Driveway 30/10. QA 8/11. PCI 22/11. These are the two quotes I've got so far (one for the digger ,the other for material delivery) DIAL A DIGGER 3h minimum +80ph thereafter. = $375 for 3 hours Lakeside Garden Supplies 10mx14m Soil = 7cubic 18x1, 18x1.5 Gravel = 2.5 cubic = $478 Is this reasonable? The Lakeside supplies were $100 cheaper than a Berwick mob I called. Any of you guys who moved in - do you have any recommendations? Re: Devonia Park at Lakeside Pakenham 707Nov 01, 2010 10:01 pm Evening all, I've just been reading through the posts (36 pages worth) and took me over two hours but was deinfitely worth the read to find out what you all have been experiencing. My partner and I, have just purchased a house and land package through PD- spec home and were quite lucky that we were able to change a few things internally. Can't wait to move into the area and meet you all soon. We are hoping to be in before winter 2011 and have noticed our neighbours have started to build also. Can't wait!
