Cost for rental exit clean? Is this reasonable?

Hi Folks,

Am hoping someone can advise me as to whether this is reasonable? I have had a quote to do a rental exit clean (house is almost finished - 2 weeks to handover) for $250. This includes stove, oven, showers, toilets, dusting, mopping, cobwebs, windows in and out, internal cupboards, walls, powerpoints etc. Does that sound reasonable? Does not include carpet cleaning.

I paid about that quite a few years ago and the best part, if the RE weren't happy with the standard of cleaning of some items they came back and rectified it (included in that price). Mine had to come back because the cupboard doors in the kitchen had streaks on them

I would say that is very reasonable - I paid $375 for a small 3 bedroom house, then another $75 to have the lawns moved and minimal weeds cleared - but the best part was if (and when, in this case) it wasn't done properly they were the ones having to come back and sort the issues out - one less thing to have to worry about when you are moving which is stressful enough, esp with kids!

Hi all, I have just had my house cleaned (Spring clean), I have a two bedroom home and they charged $210 and did a fantastic job (they put me to shame lol) I found them on the net 360propertyservices.com.au and I can give them a glowing recommendation.

I paid $270 for an exit clean on a 3 bedroom town house, 4 months ago. So that price sounds about right. Is it 2 bedroom?

$250 sounds a little on the light side after the list you included, just make sure they dont take short cuts for that price

Wow i thought $250 was expensive! I guess it depends on the size of the home as well.

I did one back for my IP- 3 bedroom UNIT in syd CBD for $110.

Can anyone recommend a good (but not too exxy) end of lease cleaner for Sydney? It looks like some of the quotes in this thread are quite reasonable.
