Browse Forums Interior Decorating Lounge 1 Aug 27, 2010 1:52 pm Hi, We're trying to decide on tiles for the walls in our ensuite (2.1 x 2.5m) and bathroom (2.1 x 3.0m). Both rooms have reasonable size windows so lighting shouldnt be a problem. I found a tile that I really like which is 150x150, would this size tile work in these spaces? The floor tiles will be a 300x300 in dark grey. Here is a picture of the tiles we are looking at, just ignore the feature tiles there for now as we gave up trying to decide on them for now. They line up better with the grout line if they are the same size. I think one of the tiles must be slightly smaller/larger than measured as I tested on the floor to see if it would line up with 2 wall to 1 floor so the grout lines would be the same and there was space for grout between the 2 small ones. Ta the step up is 30mm and wanting it to be flat . how much does the concrete have to be lowered .we plan on removing bath and lenghten shower and adding seat. the old bath… 0 11838 Possibly both depending on the sizing. Idea of working from the centre is that you dont have a 20mm thin tile at one end and a 400mm at the other end.
