Hi everyone,
This probably has been answered in other forums but I couldn't find a good one to really address the questions of :
1.) Which is more better (defined by durability and comfort)
2.) Which provides a better sound reduction.
Many posts rave that the prime underlay is the best (used in commercial/business with high traffic) however I would imagine that for residential you would go for the supablue as it more thick (some may say that it give too much bounce) and more dense than the prime and hence give better sound reduction.
My objective is to choose the best for:
1.) comfort and feel using a wool/wool blend 80/20 with a carpet of around 50+oz (twist pile)
2.) most sound reduction
From my conclusions from the above I would have to choose the supa blu. What are your thoughts and importantly your experiences.
