Browse Forums Kitchen Appliances Re: Kitchen appliances- where to go?? 14Aug 26, 2010 4:36 pm I bought a washing machine from AppliancesOnline. Great service and price. I think purchased all my kitchen appliances (just Westinghouse stuff, so nothing fancy) during E&S's EOFY sale. Their online prices (matched in store) were significantly cheaper than anything I'd seen (used AppliancesOnline as a reference whom Good Guys squirmed to just match). After all that, I even nudged em a bit to include delivery . I've so far changed delivery dates with E&S like 3 times and each time they're polite - you get the feeling that they're an old fashioned customer pleasing business. So yeah, I would say Appliances Online and E&S trading make a great combo Re: Kitchen appliances- where to go?? 15Aug 27, 2010 9:30 am Thanks Sheepdog! I'm going to check out Essendon store on this weekend (as i've been Moorabbin once already) I find this forum really helpful and saves a lot of time! Thank you all for sharing your tips and experience! Hope I can contribute more to the forum too as I go! Re: Kitchen appliances- where to go?? 16Aug 30, 2010 9:04 am Well I have visted ES Trading yesterday and they ended up confusing me with their new dazzling display of Scholtes and Siemens ovens and rangehoods their prices quite steep I have to say. Cooktop 750mm loooks like I have to choose Bosch. 2 Drawer dishwasher F&P. Has anyone heard or have Scholtes and or Siemens ovens? Thanks Re: Kitchen appliances- where to go?? 17Aug 30, 2010 9:35 am grinder Well I have visted ES Trading yesterday and they ended up confusing me with their new dazzling display of Scholtes and Siemens ovens and rangehoods their prices quite steep I have to say. Very good, the build quality is exceptional. Yes they are more expensive than most but in my opinion, an oven is something you are likely to have for 15 years and getting one you are happy with up front is worth paying for. Re: Kitchen appliances- where to go?? 18Aug 30, 2010 11:18 am I was told ES had fairly competitive price by a friend so I went there last weekend to see what the fuss was about. Couldn't believe the prices... a 1 3/4 sink for over $1k? and taps were mostly close to $1k as well? I don't know what's so good about them over something that's $200 down the road at the local bathroom/kitchen supplier? Ended up getting everything from Good Guys price beating appliance online and harvey norman. I think I made comment before, E&S is not budget stuff, it sells mainly mid to high range so not the place I would go to for budget. I dunno, I bought Westinghouse stuff from there, so fairly basic I don't recommend bathroom stuff from there thought, just appliances. And as other posters have mentioned, don't take the sticker price as anything to go by. Aim for atleast 30% off I'd say, during the EOFY sale I got about 40% off I think. The gap can be adjusted so it's tighter. You can definitely set up corner cabinets to have the same gap as standard doors. 2 13457 No. It's not original. Circa early to mid 90s would be my guess and maybe even as late as early 2000s 1 6587 2 4657 |
