I decided that I will not go to the floor for practical reason, the use of the space under the window. There was a possibility that there would be a low boy or a desk or something there so I went with only window length. Thoughts? I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. I was told to finish at the acrhitraves would leave me where I am now, looking unfinished and that going to the floor will give the room a feeling of height. The bedrooms do not concern me as no furniture is under the window however there is in the rumpus room, I will post photos when installed. Also consider need for light control if window receives a lot of sun when the desk is being used. Alternatively a blind could be a solution, which you could add dress curtains to if you still wanted the look of curtains Re: Ask your “Curtain Questions Here” 178Aug 28, 2010 5:21 pm Hey, sorry to butt in with a new question, but I've seen some of these curtains in sort of posh or luxurious shops and they're more like...long, thin strips of sheer or lightly coloured (neutral) material hanging down...and it looks REALLY nice. It probably sounds terrible, LOL, but it looks great. I've got no idea what they're called and can't find 'em online...was just wondering if anyone knows about 'em?
