Just an update, roads still haven't been brought up to finished layer.
Can still see the nice drop on the speed bump.

Mighty fine portaloo, bin and DFH sign you have there and so nice of your neighbour's to builder to donate their windows to your site. I mean why else would they be sitting on your side of the fence, and half their fence fallen over on your site. Just a question in regards to design panel. What did you do in regards to driveway? We are being told by our builder that design panel want to know what type of driveway and who the contractor is. We were going to wait until we were closer to finishing until we decide on those 2 things. Did anyone else have to let deign panel know these 2 things beforehand. If anyone has any good contacts for concreting driveways can you please message me. Re: SANDARRA GENERAL DISCUSSIONS 426Jul 01, 2010 8:07 pm corked We have tiitled(stage 5). Hi Corked, we had to submit a design for it as well as specifying color / finish etc. Didn't have to specify a contractor though, we just got multiple quotes for the same thing. Will pm across the details of those we actually were able to get quotes from out of about 15 inquiries I sent out. Re: SANDARRA GENERAL DISCUSSIONS 429Jul 05, 2010 6:23 pm HELP!!!! Just got a letter from the SRO - we're only getting $22,500.00 instead of $32,000.00 for the FHOG. WTF?!! It doesn't make any mention of our extension application, and based on the SRO website I can't for the life of me figure out how they got that figure... Our contract was definately signed before 30 Sep 2009... Will have to wait until business hours to try and sort it out... Not impressed!! Has anyone else had the same thing?? Our contract was definately signed before 30 Sep 2009... Will have to wait until business hours to try and sort it out... Not impressed!! Has anyone else had the same thing?? Hey mate only way i can work that one out is from the folowing: Contract Date (1 July 2009 - 30 September 2009) Conditions First Home Owner Grant (FHOG) New First Home Owner Boost First Home Bonus First Home Owner Regional Bonus Total Newly constructed homes in Metropolitan Victoria only $7,000 $14,000 $11,000* $0.00 $32,000 Newly constructed homes in Regional Victoria only $7,000 $14,000 $11,000* $4,500* $36,500 *For contracts entered into between 1 July 2009 to 30 June 2010, the value of the property must not exceed $600,000. Above taken from http://www.sro.vic.gov.au/sro/SROnav.nsf/alltitle/First%20Home%20Owners?open The SRO letter will tell you exactly which your eligible for, my assumption based on the above is that you've got the FHOG, First home bonus and first home owner regional bonus (somehow even though sandhurst isnt in that area but hey our bank screwed up and managed for that to happen for us by putting in the wrong location data). whilst you haven't recieved the FHOBoost of 14k due to no extension being granted (maybe) , hence 36500-14k = 22.5k. Its one theory, but best to check with the SRO directly I found them quite useful to talk with. Hey Belzy this happened to us.. but found out the bank emailed the extension forms to SRO wrong which then they ended up being lost.. I had to resend everything in again and made sure it got to the right hands. We freaked out like you when we first recieved our letter from SRO which only showed 25k. FHOG/SRO update - our bank didn't send in our contract to build... idiots.... Also the postcode 3550 comes back to Bendigo (hence the regional grant) So the SRO told us to get the bank to put 3977 (Sandhurst postcode) on the 'online form' when submitting it... Hopefully it all gets sorted soon!! We are close to PCI (15th/7),it now becomes a bit of juggling act . 1. fencing -neighbours SS wants me to hold off on thefencing until the garage is up(in laymans language he meant frame is installed) as it is on the boundary, thats 2 to 3 weeks away. 2. Should wait and install the appliances such as cooker, hot water unit just before we move in ,in case they are nicked(installing timber flooring after HO takes 2 weeks). 3.Has anyone noticed how muddy & boggy some of the sites are in sandarra ? we need a driveway but that wont happen until we move in . Thank God the end is near, without any major hassles. Re: SANDARRA GENERAL DISCUSSIONS 440Jul 10, 2010 6:39 pm andy you get your house number from the Frankston CC. I agree with you regarding the boggyness of the site, ended up with a new pair of gumboots as i got sick of sinking 6 inches or more into the silt at the rear of our block then having to clean my boots afterwards.
