Just wondering how was ur experience? did u heard any negatives about NB before you start your contract? did you check other builders? where about are you building? I bought a block of land in stage 21 bluestone green wyndham vale and hopefully it will be titled in Dec 2010. Deemaree Saffy-I have just sent you a PM-just click on the icon in the middle of the top of the ^Home One page^^^^^^ Well ... Sorry about delays in updates, I was actually away on a camping trip. Went past the block Last Weds and Thurs, and it was bucketing down rain both days so there was not work happening, as expected. But the timber had been delivered Weds, as informed by my builder. Friday had a bit better weather and we went past for a look and the chippies were there working away at our frame. To me very surprise though, they were building the whole thing from scratch ... i mean, none of it was Pre Fabbed at all. I didnt even click when i saw the timber there on wednesday either. I think im happy about this , not really sure of the Pro's and Con's of it but most people seem to say it is a better job went built from scratch. I personally have always liked the idea of building it the 'old way' of non prefabbed frames. So all is looking good i guess .... First turned up, So happy to see a start on the frame. The framer's told me while i was taking these photos that they were going to work Queens Bday Public Holiday and should have the entire frame up by tuesday, then they will start the Trusses. So it will be good to see how far they have got with it. I might even go for a drive up there later tonight, but not sure how the photos will turn out. Ohh well, ill keep you all updated, thanks for keeping up with my thread. PS ...
