Now I'm picturing you ****** in that bath with this look on your face -> The reason those tiles work so well is that everything else in the room is pared-down and ultra-simple. The vanity has very clean lines and doesn't distract from the feature wall, the mirrors don't dominate and there's nothing really fancy apart from the tiles. The bath is a feature, but it's very simple in design. I love it - reminds me of a luxury hotel/spa. I could spend hours in there too.
