1st CSR: 4/10. Wasn't too bad in explaining the full building process before we signed the contract, but once we did, very hard to get hold of & didn't return calls in a reasonable time. She lasted with the company another 4-6 weeks. 2nd CSR: 2/10. Hardly heard from here. No updates. Had to leave at least 3 msgs with her voice mail before we even got a reply. Any problems we had, never took responsibility & always blamed others for issues. She lasted with the company 8-10 weeks 3rd CSR: 8/10. Always returned our calls in a reasonable time frame. Always chased up any problems we had & resolved them. Unfortunately couldn't give us an estimate of when the house was to be handed over, even up to now, which was probably our biggest issue so far with our build process. All in all I would give them 5/10! Cheers, Mike. LOL Sounds like our experience. We had 3 of them too. The first one lasted about 3 weeks. Overall I'd give them a collective 6. 1 for the first one ( there was a reason she left) 4 for the second one. 1 for the last one. This would be a very hard job to do and from my experience we kept on getting 20-25 year olds that had moved up from a secretary. In theory the CSR is suppose to be your main point of contact to the builders. Whilst contact with the BS is preferred, there's quite a bit of admin stuff that's best organised through the CSR. We count on the CSR's to be knowledgable, professional & customer driven. With the amount of money we are spending this is the least we should receive. Why then do builders assign young females barely out of high school to do this important customer interaction role? These girls appear to have no "real" work ethic & don't care about customer satisfaction. 7/10.....but i'll wait til we start building....hehhehe Re: how helpful is your csc... rate 1 to 10... 17Mar 28, 2008 11:03 pm knowledge - 2/10
responses to queries - 1/10 communication 3/10 overall - useless Thats what happens when you hire people based on looks and not expertise. I don't understand why it seems to be such a low priority with builders when that person is the main interface between the customer and the company. The sales people on the other hand were 10/10. Our CSR is lovely & friendly but her weekly update is totally useless. She tells me things that have usually happened a week ago (eg the brick layers finish on a Friday and have packed up and gone - a week later our CSR says 'the bricklayers are nearly finished'). It drives me crazy! We have a site supervisor who promises things that are not going to happen but other than that Nada But the house is cheap... Thanks mate. Yeah good points!
