Re: Leaking Shower - HELP! 23May 25, 2010 11:34 am Gee I hope this works out for you. Who signed off on the waterproofing for the new house? Builders hate taking the responsibility for tradies stuff ups but that what they take out the insurance for. My builder is reluctant not to use shower bases in my new house and he is trying to get me to change my mind from a walk in shower. Mr Waterproof guy whats the best way to water seal an upstairs walk in shower on a timber floor? Re: Leaking Shower - HELP! 26May 30, 2010 11:11 am I guess you still could use a shower base as a 'walk in'. Depending on how big you want the shower area. Then I guess you could put a single piece of glass running down the side. I did this with my bath room, using a 900 x 1200 base and it looked great! I really should have taken photos of it. You could also counter sink a base to really give that flush effect, I think they're only 70mm high, so it shouldn't be too much trouble. Has anyone ever tried doing that?
