As for my slider its small so i might just tint it, and get a nice pelmet. Panel glides will be too big. Again with the gap issue the sales guy explained the window frame that sits behind the blind will stop the light from coming in the sides of the blinds. Re: Gaps at sides of wooden venitian blinds 15Mar 16, 2008 8:19 pm Draconis Umm just a little thing but if the window is a standard 1810mm and the blind is 1800mm then that is a 5mm gap either side not to mention you do require a small gap so the blinds don't catch on the window reveals when you raise and lower the blind. Also your standard alum. windows have approx. 15mm frame that will be behind the blind and will stop light coming through the gap anyway so I can't see a problem...
