Our site was cut 27/4, it didn't take long to find and get the retaining wall contractor on site where he started doing his thing to find that the cut was OFF. It was supposedly checked before the block was handed back to us. So...we had to wait for SS to have a look, and his answer yes it was off but not like he just organized for it to be rectified...a few days worth of phone calls between dh and contractor to get in touch with SS. It was suggested we can leave it the way it is,pushed all the way up to the front boundry and dh agreed. Now waiting for the plan to be redrafted AGAIN before the contractor can go ahead with the retaining. But lucky us they let us know that this change would not cause us any addition fee, hello...it is your stuff up of course we shouldn't have to pay!! This is so frusterating! Have you fully drawn down the loan? 5 11934 You’re on the right track, wire brush in a grinder then a zinc rich epoxy primer then a top coat of some sort, like a waterproofing membrane.
