Amazing! =)) Congratulations - you must be SO excited!! Re: Dollarz House...photos-kitchen-ensuite....Handover 30.04 45Apr 25, 2010 9:45 am I agree with all the comments -- your house is looking fabulous. I think the thing I like the most is your risk-taking with the colours (facade and kitchen splashback) Best wishes for handover...Pix Built a (highly) modified Allcastle Maxworth 38.7 in Sydney. Pixelated I agree with all the comments -- your house is looking fabulous. I think the thing I like the most is your risk-taking with the colours (facade and kitchen splashback) Best wishes for handover...Pix Thanks Pixelated. I truly hated the facade when it was in the early stages of going up. I was so concerned about it for being daring and bold and kind wish perhaps we had gone with something traditional. I love it now. I have the front garden already planned out. It certainly was a risk. Not everyone will like it. Most people will hate it I think. We wanted a home that was different and not the usual style home you see everyday. JohnnyD Hey Dollar. . .congrats on your handover date Your house is stunning!!!!! I love the facade the kitchen and the flooring oh I just love everything about your beautiful home Loretta Thanks Loretta, you know I love your home. The flooring-other half to thank for that. Timber floors are his forte. If everything goes well we should have the official new keys Friday! Exciting times ahead and lots of gardening. I'll post photos once we move in. I think it''ll truly look much better like all homes with furniture in. I am looking forward to our blinds and curtains (yes some curtains too-I LOVE the ones I chose). I should have been more productive and organised the blind situation much earlier. We will have to wait at least 2wks after we have moved in until they are ready and installed. Re: Dollarz House...photos-kitchen-ensuite....Handover 30.04 49Apr 27, 2010 7:25 pm Wahoo, carpets in and it's now starting to really feel like a home. It really makes you realise we will be moving in any day now (Saturday realistically). I'm soooo excited. We'll start on the front garden 1st. Majorly exciting and we already have mature trees that are about 2metres high that we got recently. Still need to go to the nursery to get some tube plants-aahhh they take forever to grow but we got a plant deal with our block. The backyard-no idea what to do. It's huge. I would love to get a pool. Other half wouldn't mind a tennis court (it's not that big the yard in my opinion. Maybe a small court. Pool wins me over but they cost alot. Got no new good pics as the camera battery started to die! New bed & mattress being delivered Saturday! OMG I need to do some more shopping and get some fitted King sheets. I love shopping for this kinda stuff! You can never have enough. I love towels. I'd love to have a whole cupboard full. Lounge is getting picked up in a few days too-I think it's far too big for the open living/family area (we loved it so much that if it's too big it'll go in the separate lounge). Driveway was started today. Looks fab so far so hopefully it stays that way. I have pretty much 3 wks off in a couple of days so lots of unpacking to do.....and gardening etc. Re: Dollarz House...photos-kitchen-ensuite....Handover 30.04 50Apr 27, 2010 7:39 pm Dollar, I love your home. I especially love your timber floors. You have taken a few risks but it has paid off with and amazing unique home. Enjoy living in it. Congratulations Handover February 2011 Happy with our home Re: Dollarz House...photos-kitchen-ensuite....Handover 30.04 51Apr 27, 2010 7:51 pm Thanks Robinred. The timber floors are already starting to be a conversation piece. The builder says it's the best floor he has ever seen. They look even nicer now as those photos were the 1st coat. The floors are now finished in a matt satin so don't look glossy. I'll take more of the house once we move in as I think furniture will make a huge difference.
