Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Mar 07, 2010 7:17 pm Hello all , my hubby and I are about to embark on that never ending road of renovation. Starting with our ensuite and creating a walking in pantry for me! YAY We looked at bathroom tiles today and man are there some options out there! I am NOT going to have an easy time of this, I am not a good decision maker and neither is the other half! I am guessing I will be spending some time on here bugging you all! LOL I will try to post a pic of the tile samples we picked up today and get some opinions!! Re: New to this reno thing! 2Mar 26, 2010 9:24 am Same here, in fact this is my first ever post.I have an ensuite measuring 1160X1770. I want to gut it, tiles and all and start again. We have just done our Kitchen (thanks Ikea) and i now want to tackle the bathrooms. Any design ideas would be welcome. I know there are photos on here but for some reason cant see them. Looking forward to your ideas.. Re: New to this reno thing! 3Apr 15, 2010 8:39 pm i can add a few tips- Keep your floor tiles a darker nuetral tone greys and browns work well, as you want to put darker grout on the floor to hide the dirt. Lighter colours on the wall, and if you go fr any sort of feature- remember they date. Accessorise with towels etc good luck Adrien Re: New to this reno thing! 4Apr 16, 2010 8:12 am Im going to be following this too! We still havent finalised our ensuite plans my hubby wants to include a walk in roba at one end and I really don't like the idea. Any opinoins? We are also doing to family room which Im hoiping will be easier as we are going to try and keep everything in the same place. We were hoping to go with one colour tiles a sort of neutral light brown/beige but Im liking the idea of darker grout to hide the dirt ( we have 2 litllies) Oh the choices !
