I found with a 4 yr old and 1 yr old the marks on the coupboards were constant and drove me around the bend. I do think however that the finish of the cupboards makes a huge difference - I had a matt white finish which seemed to 'hold' the dirt/marks and made it really hard to clean - it wasn't just a simple wipe off - every mark required the spray and elbow grease!! So maybe a gloss would be easier to clean??? Go with whatever colour/look you love and then keeping the kitchen clean won't be a chore!! Mel - jumping in feet first to my first owner build!!
