Kat Re: Smart Wire Installers - Do your homework!!! 29Mar 22, 2010 6:57 pm buiLdinGdReamS Hello, just been reading this thread, trying to understand what everyone has organised for their house, as a first home and quite happy with my wireless usb optus internet inserted straight into the laptop, im not really fussed about the whole telstra velocity, however as it is available and we could possibly want to sell one day we have decided to get telstra velocity, at the moment we have asked for the basic package which we were told includes 1 data point, 1 tv point and 1 phone point.. If we were to choose this package, does this mean you do not require to have tv points inserted with builder?? Or do we require both?? Hope someone can help.. Laney. No you shouldn't need TV points through builder as the smart people will put them in.. we got conduit put in where we were having everything to make it easier for them. But they can do that as well especially if you get one who can gain access during the build.
