It probably feels worse than it is just because of the delivery hassles (they don't deliver? ) but things will progress now. Re: Jodes House - Aussie Liviing (WA) - IT'S MINE!!! ALL MIN 2602Mar 15, 2010 10:39 pm Jodie you could do a Ute hire from Bunnings in Bunbury. They are massive utes/ They are not too bad for a short time hire and at least you won't be using more than the first free 100kms. Or better yet hire it for 24 hours. and do a few runs and drop off some other stuff at the house or do a few bunnings trips to buy stuff you want for the house. i hired one for my perth drive the other week and even with an extra 400kms on the mileage thing it was only 82 bucks. plus topping up the fuel tank Re: Jodes House - Aussie Liviing (WA) - IT'S MINE!!! ALL MIN 2603Mar 15, 2010 11:21 pm Alternatively if you have a tow ball, buy something from bunnings and grab one of their complimentary trailors. You can grab it for two hours, which hopefully should be long enough to pickup the tiles and drop them off.. Re: Jodes House - Aussie Liviing (WA) - IT'S MINE!!! Wish i'd known earlier!! Makes it a tad difficult as i work... however... i suppose (what time does Bunnings open??) i could go in the morning and arrange to pick a ute up (would have to be a automatic though!!) and go and collect a heap of tiles at lunch and drop them off at the house... that could work!!! Thanks kex!!! elemist Alternatively if you have a tow ball, buy something from bunnings and grab one of their complimentary trailors. Makes it look kinda more homey LOL And my tiler got started today It looks so nice!! Can't wait to see it all finished. So tomorrow I need to ring the landscapers!! Although i think they're going to want me to flatten out the front of the block... but there's a slight rise on the block at the front... i don't know. Will see how we go i guess. I really want my landscaping done by the time of my party in May... viewtopic.php?f=31&t=22766 - my build thread! Time waits for no man. Unless that man is Chuck Norris.
