Only took 1 photo at PCI, and that was of the front of the house with the garage door down - but of course I forgot to bring my camera to work

Anyways, PCI went well. No major problems. There were a few chips in the plaster that will be repaired, besides that, the ensuite shower pools water a little, so the tiler will be comng in to fix that this week, and the sink in the ensuite leaks a little, so the plumber will be coming back to seal it properly. Other than that, all is good.

AND I'm actually begginning to like the look of my house. It may because I can compare it to the bright purple house two houses down from mine, or it may just be that my colours have grown on me.

So heres a little preview of the pics I took last time I was there...
I have toilets... although someone had peed in the ensuite one and hadnt flushed it AND left the seat up

And this is the colour my garage door is - the door was up at the time coz the guys were paving the driveway, so I couldnt take a photo of it

Well done Nat. You have finally made it to the end. It will be an exciting day on the 12th for you - Keys and Contract for new job!!! Your head will be spinning with excitement. I'm so happy for you. You deserve it!!

I will be getting landscaping done ASAP. The estate give us $4000 to put towards front landscaping, so I just need to organise fencing and my backyard and I'm done

I started packing last night. I didnt realise how much crap I have!! I have filled three big boxes just with candles and photo frames! I'm up to box 7 now. So will hopefully get another 7 done tonight. Hard work this 'moving' bizzo!

Gawd... TELL me about it!!! I'd actually better get started on the packing myself... (considering that i've got between 8 and 10 boxes to pack of books alone... not to mention all the DVD's... *sigh*

I am REALLY excited about seeing my toilets... installed... i can't get in to see them but i WANT to!!

Yeah I did two big boxes of DVD's then gave up. Wii games could almost fill a box too, but I havent packed them yet.
And dont even get me started on the Tupperware!! Its going to take me FOREVER to pack all of that!

Maybe I missed it in your thread Jodes, but have you been given a date for PCI yet??
Surely it couldnt be too far off!

So as I am finishing up at my job tomorrow and my other half has taken the laptop to work with him, I could be without a computer for a few weeks. Sooooo I will post my highly exciting pictures now...
Heres my pretty garage door and my paving all completed. (No, my house isnt on a lean, I just suck at taking photos!)

(as you can see by the box at the top in the middle, some of these boxes are second hand, so I've marked my boxes accordingly with yellow sticky dots!) And yes, it took me a long time to disassemble that wine rack!

Well good luck with the big move considering we may not hear from you for a while. I hope you enjoy your new home, new job and new direction in life in general. Such a big change, such an exciting time.

Thanks Tamdaz - I cant believe how fast it has all happened!
Seems like only yesterday I was signing the contract to buy the land, now I've got a whole house sitting on it!

I'm sure I'll bombard you with pictures when the garden has been done Hels

Infact, I'll probably feel the need to show you guys ANYTHING new ...the fence, the letter box, the clothes line... ::wornout::

Hi, I am new to this discussion and am wondering how long the Pre contract quotation is vaild for before you have to go through it all again. Our block is taking longer to organise than expected.
