Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Internal walls painted by spray gun?? 9Feb 03, 2008 8:13 pm Hi Firthy,
We are also getting it sprayed then rolled. I was very shocked when the builder told me this but apparently this is way the painters are going. There is one thing for certain, if I am not happy with the paint job, they can come back and roll it again. Mrs B Re: Internal walls painted by spray gun?? 10Feb 04, 2008 8:16 am Thanks guys.
Looks like I don't have anything to worry about regarding spraying the paint compared with rolling / brushing it. Only time will tell. I'm sure the painters know what they're doing Matt.. On the contract it says they will be using Bristol (semi sec). If they have changed their paint supplier since your build do you think they will still use the Bristol on ours or the equivilant in the Dulux range?? Lyn.. That's the first thing I will look at, the plasterers measures. I noticed a few around so that would be the first thing that would show up if the paint wasn't applied thick enough. Cheers, Mike. Unless Carlisle Homes did a variation for you (and probably charged extra) it would be Bristol. Worth asking the painters though... Thanks. Yeh ideally that would have been good, but have progressed too far now. Hoping some well placed internal walls fixed up into the battens will provide some… 2 5629 Thank you alexp79 and gommeqld for your advice, that's very helpful, thanks 3 8232 3 10373 |
