Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Kirsada's house, WA - Loving the AIR CON!!!! 901Jan 30, 2010 12:43 pm Aww MNH you are just at the start!!! I remember when I was stressing over colours! It is such a nightmare. My best advice would be to get a list of addresses from Midland Brick and the other brick place so you can see the bricks in real life. You can also get a list of addresses for Bristile Tiles and the colorbond website. Most builders will probably tell you the colours they have used too You definitely need to see everything in the flesh. Our Lundy Grey by the way is at 150%. It matches the brochure. Re: Kirsada's house, WA - WE'VE GOT GRASS!!!!!!!! 912Feb 09, 2010 12:35 pm Looks 100,000,000% better now Kirsada!!! And yeah, did they run out of grasss for you??? Am loving those plants around your front porch area And your garage door looks amazing!! The whole front looks brilliant What have you got planned for the backyard now? viewtopic.php?f=31&t=22766 - my build thread! Time waits for no man. Unless that man is Chuck Norris. Re: Kirsada's house, WA - WE'VE GOT GRASS!!!!!!!! 913Feb 09, 2010 1:47 pm Ha ha, thanks guys!! Yep, they ran out of grass. I was hoping there would be extra so I could use it out the back!! The backyard is not included in the landscaping package, so we'll be doing it slowly. The priority will be to get grass and cut down the SAND!! The sides of the house will be stepping stones (pavers) and small rocks. Need to plant some money trees lol lol. In the front we have all waterwise plants e.g grevillea, kangaroo paw, daisy etc etc. I will have to check my list at home to tell you more BUILT with Homebuyer's Centre - Aussie Alfresco Games viewtopic.php?f=31&t=16668 Moved In - Dec 14th Painting all but done - Jan 11 Front Landscaping - Feb 8 Moved In PICS Page 43 Re: Kirsada's house, WA - WE'VE GOT GRASS!!!!!!!! 914Feb 09, 2010 5:52 pm Oh that makes a difference doesn't it. That looks fabulous. I am glad we get front landscaping as well. Kat Re: Kirsada's house, WA - WE'VE GOT GRASS!!!!!!!! 915Feb 09, 2010 7:43 pm kirsada, there's nothing like newly laid lawn, lovely new plants and mulch with a watering system to take care of them. Now you can sit back and watch your fantastic new garden grow! And in between the sitting back and watching it grow you can start on the backyard and turn that into another fantastic new garden! Just got to love all the hard work tho!!! (not) Make sure you plant your money tree out in the front not the back PCI Done Re: Kirsada's house, WA - WE'VE GOT GRASS!!!!!!!! 917Feb 10, 2010 3:26 am House is looking great Kirsada! Amazing just looking at the photos now to think that it was only a few months back that we were all excited over a site scrape and then things like a toilet and shed! Building a house is quite the ride. Hopefully you'll now have a bit of time to sit back and enjoy it!!! Could you also send me the details of your sparky + lighting shop and the model number of name of the down lights if you still have it. Cheers Troy Re: Kirsada's house, WA - WE'VE GOT GRASS!!!!!!!! 918Feb 10, 2010 9:52 am I know! We walk around our estate watching other people checking out the progress of their build and laugh at their happiness/anger/disappointment!!! We only just got our bond from the rental back! We moved out mid December and it took the real estate sooo long. I think we can start to enjoy the new house now that the renting stage is OFFICIALLY over!! Ani, I remembered some more plants: Correa and cascade of stars (near front door), Abelia grandiflora, emu bush, grevillea sea spray, fiji fire and thomb thumb. I'll have to pull out the list at home!!! My plan was to have lots of waterwise plants with lots of colour/flowers to cover all 4 seasons! Here is a pic of the side part complete with mulch Hopefully the "missing" turf will be done today! http://i655.photobucket.com/albums/uu271/kirsada/Picture051.jpg We also had our carport enclosed and side gate put in yesterday, which means now we can lock stuff in the carport The colour matches the front door, but not quite the garage door so we will have to get used to that. The side gate needs to be lowered as it is has a 20cm gap at the bottom http://i655.photobucket.com/albums/uu271/kirsada/Picture049.jpg http://i655.photobucket.com/albums/uu271/kirsada/Picture048.jpg http://i655.photobucket.com/albums/uu271/kirsada/Picture047.jpg BUILT with Homebuyer's Centre - Aussie Alfresco Games viewtopic.php?f=31&t=16668 Moved In - Dec 14th Painting all but done - Jan 11 Front Landscaping - Feb 8 Moved In PICS Page 43 Yes well there solution is to blame everyone else while I a 65yr old woman with major medical problems have to just continue to boil water and wash myself in a bucket… 2 16067 If you make sure all taps inside and out are turned off, what does the water meter show if you leave it for a while. 2 20313 13 6721 |
