Re: Has anyone had furniture re-upholstered? 11Jan 18, 2010 7:59 pm Well, I got DP to make some phone calls today for some ideas on price. Nobody could really give us a good indication, but one company said an average cost for basic chairs that are in good condition could range from $30 - $70. That being said, he hasn't seen the chairs but even if I guess $100 per chair then that's only $600. I won the chairs on ebay (thanks auctionraptor!)
