Creaky Floorboards

Hi Guy,s,
I live in Perth and have a 1950's home complete with creaking floorboards, so can anybody help me with some solutions.
1. Can I stop them from creaking and how?
2. Parts of my floor are uneven could this be part of the cause and again if so how do I fix?
3. Can anybody recommend any reputable/honest companies for quotes if this is something that requires experts and possible scenarios of cost?

you need to get under the house first with someone on top and work out exactly where they are creaking - it may be as simple as screwing some 'chocks' to the joists under your floor.
