Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering Re: Engineered Flooring Costs Perth 15Apr 02, 2012 3:03 pm Has anyone installed the Blue Gum (Brazillian blue gum supplied by Carpet Call) and found the quality really bad? I am having issues with dents. It's so easy to dent. One drop of an object (like a toy car, size and weight of a computer mouse), one deep dent. Engineering timber is certainly a less fuss option, times cheaper to supply and install and better withstands humidity. 1 11502 Thanks Simon, I guess I'm no concerned with the volume of the noise rather that dead and hollow sound and feel that is associated with floating floors. But I'm not sure… 3 4578 I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 8256 |
