Browse Forums Flooring & Floor Covering Re: Engineered Flooring Costs Perth 11Jan 05, 2010 1:32 pm sveta Hi SKS, We got out quote when there was a sale and the fact we are doing the whole house with them gave us the leverage to bargain. Dont believe the crap they give us about giving a better deal than retail. We went with the sales guy. When we first bought our carpet, he was working at the Riverton outlet. Then when we decided on our timber, he was working at Cannington outlet. If they say 108, bargain and get them to contact you. Be firm on the price you have in mind and dont call them once you have let them know what you have in mind. Trust me they will call you back. You could spend several nights sleepless and keep looking at your phone all the time but its worth it Good luck. Sveta, they have confirmed the $108 quote in writing. Re: Engineered Flooring Costs Perth 12Jan 05, 2010 7:19 pm Did you pay the deposit. if not you can still bargain to bring the price down, as you have not confirmed anything from your side. The sales guy had come over to our place and made the offer. He was on the phone with his manager but was really good to us. Re: Engineered Flooring Costs Perth 15Apr 02, 2012 3:03 pm Has anyone installed the Blue Gum (Brazillian blue gum supplied by Carpet Call) and found the quality really bad? I am having issues with dents. It's so easy to dent. One drop of an object (like a toy car, size and weight of a computer mouse), one deep dent. Engineering timber is certainly a less fuss option, times cheaper to supply and install and better withstands humidity. 1 15819 Thanks Simon, I guess I'm no concerned with the volume of the noise rather that dead and hollow sound and feel that is associated with floating floors. But I'm not sure… 3 6068 I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 12979 |
