Re: Need a kitchen drawn up? 4Dec 04, 2009 9:13 pm I have tried my virtual home but it was just too hard... I am not very good at things like that, good at other things but not any type of drawing on the comptuer or not lol. I would have really liked to see what our house was going to look like but too late now I am now onto the stage of just hoping its going to look fine. Re: Need a kitchen drawn up? 5Dec 05, 2009 12:39 am Sure i will attempt in the next two days for you. I think I need to keep with the basic layout due to the window location. Having the sink by the window will be a nice view. Re: Need a kitchen drawn up? 10Dec 06, 2009 3:34 pm No probs This pic below is from your original image and i put arrows in to show you that its a good design with great consideration for traffic flow Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The next two are larger island benchtops, 2400mm and 3000mm long. If not then top units with glass doors? might be an alternative You will also see that the cooktop is 900 let me know what you think and if you want to see some changes If you need a kitchen drawn up, post it on this thread - gotta give me a couple of days though:) viewtopic.php?f=16&t=26892 Re: Need a kitchen drawn up? 11Dec 06, 2009 4:06 pm Awesome. Thankyou. Def the 2400 bench I think ditching the wall oven and putting the oven under the cooktop will give more bench space. What do you think? I am planning on a double door fridge so that will use more space Also I think the brekfeast bar might be better than the waterfall? Do you think the pantry is large enough? Re: Need a kitchen drawn up? 12Dec 06, 2009 6:15 pm OMG thats amazing! thank you so much!!! Our frame went up this week and I was getting a little disappointed thinking things were going to be too small (I have built before so I know it always look smaller with the slab and frame up) but yeah... this has really made my day. We were a bit worried about the kitchen but I think we are going to really like it!! If you dont mind, the colours i would like to see are a light floor, like a white with a slight grey tinge. White bench tops and a darker grey for the underneath cupboards and maybe the same dark grey for the pantry door (will be two pack). Splashback (If thats even possible) maybe the same grey as the cupboards. Thank you once again! You really dont know how much I appreciate that right now Re: Need a kitchen drawn up? 13Dec 06, 2009 6:19 pm You have inspired me to give it another go. I wanna see if the bathroom is as small as I think it is. I will probably need to ask some questions if you dont mind Re: Need a kitchen drawn up? 14Dec 06, 2009 8:25 pm I gave the bathroom a go and have a very basic design. I dont know how to save it as a jpeg, maybe I cant because I dont have pro but its good to look at. Now kind of wishing we got someone to do this before we settled on our final plans but nevermind... we will certainly know for next time! Re: Need a kitchen drawn up? 15Dec 06, 2009 9:30 pm You can just take a screen shot of the image by pressing the 'print screen' button and pasting it in paint to save it as a jpeg. And great work on sketchup, they look ace. I used a bit of MyVirtualHome but it gets really really irritating when you try to do finer details and 3D drawing in sketchup is just beyond me =D.
