So good not having to pay for a phone line we don't use. HOWEVER!!! Keep in mind though if you have a house alarm that calls out to your mobile it requires a standard phone line. Hence when we move into our new house we have to go back to Telstra & standard ADSL. Not very happy about that but the alarm doesn't work on the VOIP line. iinet are good to advise you of this though which is great. Enquire with your Alarm manufacturer.. You may be able to change your alarm to use a mobile phone call the monitoring company, or even your own mobile so you can cut the monitoring company out of the loop. Wish you all the best.
